The Honey Valley Estate is situated in the Western Ghats in the heart of Kodagu (Coorg), about 250 kilometers from Bangalore. Kodagu is the Scotland of India, with misty green slopes and lush forest, and offers a beautiful location for walking, bird watching or simply relaxing. Most of Kodagu is between 1,000 and 1,400 meters above sea level, which makes its climate pleasantly cool.

The Chengappa couple has built up their farm house over the years and is now a guest house & opened it to nature loving visitors. It is remote & difficult to access which makes it peaceful & relaxing. Traditional Coorgi food is prepared by the hostess. Even the electricity required for the estate is produced using the water from the stream flowing through the estate. A four wheel drive is the only means of transportation to the estate. Accommodation facility in Honey Valley Estate includes a choice of stay in 'Tranquil' which has three double rooms with attached bathrooms and a 10-bed dormitory with common bathroom facilities.
